The test bench that will be used is located in Nobatek, in Anglet, France. It will be used in order to carry out the first renovation with the E2VENT module in order to test, improve and finalize its design, installation process and its control. Then it will allow to compare the overall energy efficiency of the E2VENT Module against competitive solutions.

The test bench is composed of three cells that will all be renovated with different systems:

• Cell West: the cell that will be considered as a reference renovated with ETICS

• Cell Center: a cell renovated with a ventilated façade without any HVAC systems

• Cell East: E2VENT renovation, with a SMHRU and LHTES with the associated BEMs

During the first period, some works on the test bench were carried out. Windows were taken out, and concrete blocks were built on the three cells. It represent the low efficient walls from the 70’s.

Next step is to install the SMHRU and LHTES on the test bench.
